Professional experience

Julia specializes in cross-border disputes spanning interstate conflicts, international commercial arbitration, and multi-jurisdictional litigation. Julia has represented governmental bodies, companies and private clients in courts and leading arbitration institutions, including HKIAC and LCIA.

Julia's relevant experience includes representing:

A sovereign state in an LCIA arbitration in connection with an alleged breach by the issuer of the terms of sovereign Eurobonds;
A founder of a fintech company in a corporate conflict and related HKIAC arbitration proceedings;
A minority shareholder of an international company specializing in distribution and production of medical equipment in a cross-border dispute concerning an alleged theft of his shares by majority shareholders;
The majority shareholders in a wide-ranging corporate dispute between shareholders before the Cypriot, Swiss, Chinese, UAE and Russian courts and advising them on ongoing corporate matters within the group of companies;
A Russian real estate company in Russian state courts in connection with a dispute over an invalid loan agreement;
One of the largest Russian energycompanies in court proceedings concerning challenges of certain transactions in a bankruptcy case.
