Construction Experience

Agricultural Complex Construction – Czech Republic

Provided legal support to Bauer Technics a.s., a Czech general contractor, in €35 million project to build a turnkey pig farm for a leading meat production company. We advised on contracts, regulatory compliance, and project structuring throughout the construction process.

Large Danish Retailer – Market Entry & Store Reconstruction

Supported a major Danish retailer entering a new market by negotiating and concluding agreements for the reconstruction of its chain of stores, ensuring compliance with local regulations and protecting the client’s commercial interests.

Manufacturing Facility Construction

Delivered full legal support to a major holding company for the construction of a manufacturing facility. Provided thorough construction law advice, structured project contracts, led negotiations and oversaw agreements for comprehensive management of construction activities with engineering authorities.

Croatian Telecommunications Company – Wireless Network Project

Advised a Croatian telecommunications equipment manufacturer on the construction of a wireless network in a foreign market, including guidance on certification and licensing requirements. Provided legal support for financial arrangements, including facility agreements, pledge agreements, and foreclosure agreements with an international development bank.

Multi-Functional Complex Project for International Project Management Agency

Advised a Fortune 500 global design services leader on a multi-functional complex project in Eastern Europe. We developed a dispute strategy to protect the client’s interests in domestic court proceedings concerning penalty claims for allegedly providing unsatisfactory services.

TurkStream Gas Pipeline Project – Serbia & Bulgaria

Supported a leading pipeline construction company in its €200 million project in Serbia and Bulgaria, part of the TurkStream gas line. Services included: preparation of four FIDIC contracts (Silver Book); support during negotiations; drafting a lease contract for drilling equipment; advising on construction laws and regulations

Major European Contractor – Mining Project

Provided comprehensive legal support for a major European contractor entering a new international construction market, including all aspects of construction activities under a large-scale mining project with client investments exceeding $2 billion USD. Advised on contract variations, coordinated communications with construction authorities, and implemented dispute avoidance strategies.
